The Implementation Manager is responsible for management of implementation projects from initial sale through go-live. Oversees complex, multi-phase implementations, including kickoff, scoping of project, data creation, application build, system test, and go-live by providing matrix management and project oversight of the resources responsible for project tasks. Develops and maintains detailed project plans and other related project materials. Develops and maintains communications between internal and external clients, including status reports, issue logs, risk mitigations and managing expectations. Acts as primary point of escalation for project issues during the implementation phase of the project and coordinates handoff of client and project to downstream organizations. The Implementation Manager is also responsible for internal communication of project status, issues and risks to project stakeholders and program leadership team. Additionally, this position will focus on the implementation process. This includes to overall project process. The senior project managers will look for areas of improvement within the process. He/she will then drive the changes through documentation, updating to the project plan and rigor of the project. The position also contributes as a subject matter expert to the strategic development of long-term project management strategies including the refinement and implementation of process and tools. This position requires national travel of up to 50%.
