Overview

In this position you will work with a talented Agile, engineering group to design and construct our flagship Arcadia Analytics product. You will work as a full stack engineer using AngularJS, RubyOnRails, Redis, SQL and NoSQL databases. 

 

Our product is used daily by a large user population to analyze billions of data metrics.  Built from the ground up using the most modern web frameworks, the Arcadia Analytics web platform is designed with user experience in mind. What You Will Be Doing

  • Design and implement software components
  • Perform code reviews
  • Unit Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • End-to-End Testing
  • UX Design
  • Deploy software components
  • Groom Features (Epics Definition, Story Estimates, Tasks Breakdown)
  • Manage code repositories
  • Establish and enforce software versioning
  • Evaluate and adopt Software Development tools
  • Establish and maintain efficient local development environments
  • Provide, analyze, and respond to software development metrics such as Feature Lifecycle and Burn Down
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve software development processes

Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 5 years of related work experience
  • AngularJS, Jasmine or Protractor, Gulp or Grunt, Bower
  • HTML5, CSS3
  • RubyOnRails
  • SQL database such as MySql, Postgres, SqlServer, or Oracle
  • NoSQL database such as ElasticSearch/Solr, MongoDB, Cassandra

Preferred:

  • js, Google Charts, or Fusion Charts
  • CoffeeScript
